The www.cedd.net Web page main purpose is to inform and provide information to citizens on the services of the Spanish Centre for Disability Documentation, dependent on the Royal Board of Trustees on Disability, and managed by EGUIA-CAREAGA FOUNDATION.

The Spanish Centre for Disability Documentation, according to the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, assumes the legal obligations regarding the protection of personal data, especially as regards:

The existence of files or processes containing personal data.The purpose of data collection.Recipients of information.The optional or mandatory nature of the questions posed by us.The consequences of obtaining data or of the refusal to provide them.The possibility of exercising rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition.The identity and address of the entity responsible of the processing or, where applicable, of its representative.

Purpose of data processing

The data provided in the contact form shall be solely and exclusively used to keep you informed about the current developments and news affecting the Spanish Centre for Disability Documentation.

Data storage

The data shall be stored until you exercise your right to cancel them. Interested persons may be periodically asked if they are stilled interested in receiving information about the Spanish Centre for Disability Documentation in order to keep the contact database updated.

Collecting the data

The data for this processing are data that the interested persons themselves have provided, and that we have been authorised for use on an informed basis. Users are informed that their data will be incorporated into an automated file whose responsible is the EGUIA-CAREAGA FOUNDATION.

The data processed are: last name, email address and identification.

Data transfer to third parties

We will not transfer your data to third party companies unless legally obligated to do so. In the event that we intend to do so, we would first collect authorisation from the affected persons.

The Spanish Centre for Disability Documentation can use services from companies outside Europe to process the data (sending messages) such as MailChimp (The Rocket Science Group, LLC) with whom we work under the EU-US Privacy Shield agreement. The privacy policy of the latter is available on their Website.

Rights

Everyone has the right to know whether the Spanish Centre for Disability Documentation is processing their personal data or not.

You have the right to access your personal data, which implies knowing which elements of your data being used, the purpose and the period of use, among other information. This also includes the right to request the rectification of data that are inaccurate or incomplete and even to request that the data be cancelled when they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected.

If your personal data were made public and the data controller is obliged to delete them, you can request that the data controller adopt measures to notify all persons authorised to process the data of your intention to delete the said data (the right to be forgotten).

In some cases the interested person may request that processing is restricted. In this case, the data may be stored to exercise their defence or to make claims. If the limitation of processing is withdrawn, the interested person should be informed of this.

In some situations you may oppose to the processing of your data. In these cases, the Spanish Centre for Disability Documentation shall stop processing your data, provided that there are no other compelling legitimate grounds or if these data will be used to exercise or defend possible claims.

You have the right to receive the data provided to the data controller to whom they correspond or to have these data transferred to another data controller.

The interested persons have the right to file a claim before the control authority.
