The Spanish Centre for Disability Documentation
The Centre for Documentation of the Royal Board on Disability has a specialized library that offers its services to both public and private entities, all kinds of professionals or any other persons interested in the field of disabilities.
The documental assets consist of the main publications, both local and foreign, dealing with all issues relating to disability and social policies.
From 1980 on, the CEDD is managed by the Eguía Careaga Foundation (SIIS) thanks to a collaboration agreement.
The CEDD renders the following services:
- A public library (open 09:00 to 15:00 /16:30 to 18:30, Monday to Thursday; 09:00 to 14:00, Friday).
- Access to in-house databases, both bibliographic and legislative on social policies.
- Access to other databases both local and foreign.
- Information and guidance on social resources.
- The CEDD has a video library on issues relating to disability. There is a video lending service.
- Publishing and distribution of the Royal Board publications on disability.
